That's Me
I bet our stories are pretty similar...
My highest weight was 277 lbs. I was defeated, but I knew something had to change. So I went on mission....

My highest weight was 277 lbs.

I was defeated, but I knew something had to change.

My highest weight was 277 lbs.
Think of every fad, trend or diet...
I've probably tried it....
Growing up, my weight was pretty average. But like so many of us, I carried insecurities.
So I started dieting. My senior year, I did a low-carb diet and lost 40 pounds.
What no one told me? That I’d have to maintain it.
I thought I was done. I hit my goal — I was free. But then college hit, and with it, the freedom to eat whatever I wanted… and I gained 100 pounds. Fast.
For 10 years, I chased every quick fix out there. I’d lose 20 pounds, gain 30. Lose 40, gain 50. It felt like a never-ending cycle and in 2016, I hit my highest weight: 277 lbs.
I felt like a failure. I had no motivation, no discipline, no self-control... everything I was told I needed to be healthy.
I'd been called fat more times than I can count....
Eventually, I snapped....
I was called fat more times than I can count—mocked, ignored, dismissed.
But the worst part?
I blamed myself.
I thought, “If I didn’t let this happen… maybe they wouldn’t treat me like this.”
I avoided swimming, wearing shorts, taking pictures.
I couldn’t ride roller coasters.
I couldn't shop where I wanted & everything was floral.
I couldn't easily paint my toe nails.
My weight controlled my life.
Then one day, someone told me I was “too fat to date.”
And for the first time… it didn’t break me.
It lit a fire.
I made myself a promise:
“Too fat” would never be a reason I couldn’t do something ever again.
Once that fire was lit...
I went on a mission & I've never looked back..
I realized something big:
Everything I’d done for the past 10 years clearly hadn’t worked.
So I got curious. I started learning—really learning. I studied, watched documentaries, and dug into the truth behind nutrition, habits, and lasting change.
Then I did something radical…
I started doing the opposite of what I’d been sold.
No more extremes. No more quick fixes.
Just small, steady changes—built on real knowledge, not fear.
And the weight? It started coming off… and it didn’t stop.
After a year and some change, I was down over 115 pounds—and I’ve maintained it for 8 years.
I knew I had to help others, so my new mission started...
Share the facts with real talk...
I became a health coach in 2018, trained in nutrition by registered dietitians and certified in behavior change.
People say I’m great at what I do—but that’s not just because of the credentials. It’s because I’ve lived it.
And I have a deeper why:
I believe it’s completely unfair that our health and our bodies have become a form of currency.
So I combined my professional training with my personal experience to create Unapologetic Coaching—a program that not only helps you reach your goals but, more importantly, teaches you how to maintain them for life.
Because here’s what I’ve learned:
It’s not about a restrictive diet. It’s about simplicity, behavior change, real knowledge, and a belief that you can do this.
In my 7 years of coaching, I’ve had the privilege of working with over 500 clients—guiding them, cheering them on, and building lifelong friendships along the way.
This is my purpose.
And if you choose to work with me, know this:
You’ll have a coach who will never judge you, never give up on you, and will always believe in your ability to change.
