Uncomplicating Weight Loss: What the Wellness Industry Doesn’t Want You to Know

I am going to say what a lot of coaches, wellness influencers and big weight loss companies won't say right now — you don't need expensive supplements, convoluted macro counting, or fancy metabolic tests to get healthy or lose weight.
It's trends.
It's marketing, sales funnels, and all the other things that make the weight loss industry a billion dollar market.
What you really need is:
Simplicity
Habit Changes
Basic understanding of nutrition
Emotional healing around food & weight
To be heard
How do I know, and why am I so confident saying it?
I've been there. I've coached it. I am part of the industry.
Why do I say something different than others?
Because I care about health and wellness — but even more than that, I care about the truth over profit.
I want to see my clients succeed, feel less overwhelmed, be empowered at the grocery store & restaurants, and finally see that health & weight loss are accessible.
I want to see the spark in their eyes when they realize they’re confident in their ability to maintain a healthy life.

Common Barriers to Weight Loss I Hear:
“Healthy food is too expensive.”
👉 Heavily marketed health food is too expensive — not actual healthy food.
“I don’t have time to cook.”
👉 Overcomplicating things is why you don’t have time. A healthy stir-fry takes less than 15 minutes.
“Meal planning feels overwhelming.”
👉 Keep it simple. Don’t waste hours searching for the ‘perfect’ recipe or macronutrient breakdown.
“I’ve tried and failed too many times.”
👉 You haven’t failed — you’ve been sold BS without real guidance or support.
“It’s just my genetics or metabolism.”
👉 Sure, they play a role — but change is still possible. That belief is a marketing tactic to sell high-ticket tests and supplements.
I’ve been a rebellious spirit my entire life — part of me still believes I might be Batman, constantly fighting injustice. 😆

But seriously — the wellness industry is broken. It profits off confusion and chaos. That’s not okay with me.
And it impacts more than just your body.

Your longevity
Your confidence
Your actual health
The essence of who you are.
The sentence I hear more than anything?
“I feel unheard.” That should never be the case when it comes to your health. And honestly? It lights a fire in me that’s borderline obnoxious — but it’s important.
