Weight Loss Isn’t Linear – Here’s The Part No One Talks About

Let’s get real.

I’m a health coach. I’ve lost over 100 pounds. And recently…I gained 15 of them back.

Cue the gasps.

Or not. Because I’m not here to pretend perfection.

This is the part no one talks about—the messy, human, real side of weight loss. The part that doesn’t get featured in the “before and after” posts. The part that isn’t sexy, polished, or inspiring in a conventional sense.

But it’s truth.

And truth matters more than a curated image ever will.

The Scale Doesn’t Tell You About Life

It doesn’t tell you about running a business while juggling a million responsibilities.

It doesn’t show the stress, the long days, the skipped meals, or the ADHD-fueled boredom eating.

It doesn’t show the mental gymnastics of trying to stay consistent while your brain is screaming for novelty, snacks, and dopamine.

My life has been in overdrive lately—personal changes, professional growth, endless to-do lists, and moments where food became more than fuel…it became a mindless task on my to do list.

And you know what?

I’m still a damn good coach.

Because weight gain doesn’t erase your worth. It doesn’t erase your wisdom. And it sure as hell doesn’t mean you’ve “failed.”

Weight Loss Is Not a Straight Line

Here’s the rebellion:

We’ve been sold this lie that weight loss is supposed to be linear. That once you “figure it out,” you never struggle again. That success means permanent perfection.

Bullsh*t.

Bodies are dynamic. Life is unpredictable. And healing isn’t a straight path—it’s a spiral.

Sometimes, you loop back. Sometimes, you hit a dip. Sometimes, the wins are quiet and internal, not something you can measure with a tape measure or a pair of jeans.

I’m Still 100+ Pounds Down—and Still Learning

Even after all these years and all this progress, I still hit bumps.

And that’s not weakness. That’s real life. That’s being human.

The difference now?

I don’t spiral into shame. I don’t throw in the towel. I don’t use it as an excuse to abandon myself.

I recalibrate. I reflect. And I keep going.

Because this journey isn’t about perfection. It’s about power.

It’s about rising again and again, with compassion and curiosity.

It’s about being radically honest—with myself and with you.

Coach Tiffany Then & Now
Before. After. And now—15 lbs up and still 100+ down. Still standing. Still showing up.

Why I’m Sharing This

I’m not here to sell you a fantasy.

I’m here to guide you through the reality—the setbacks, the stress, the triumphs, the slip-ups.

All of it.

So if you’re struggling right now, if your weight has fluctuated, if life feels chaotic and your progress feels stalled—you’re not alone.

You don’t need to be perfect to make progress. You don’t need to be flawless to be worthy. You just need to keep showing up—for yourself, not for the scale.

Let’s Ditch the Shame and Own the Truth

Weight loss isn’t linear. It’s bold. It’s messy.

It’s rebellious.

And it’s yours—no one else gets to define what success looks like for you.

I’m still here. Still committed. Still evolving.

And if you are too, even through the mess—you’re already winning.

Let’s keep rising.

Unapologetically.

P.S. If this post hits home for you, shoot me a message or share it with someone who needs to hear it. Let’s normalize the real side of the journey.
